Our meeting will be on the Topic "Bottling Honey". Also we will be covering "The pest of the honey bee". If we can understand how these pest live and know there life cycle. Hopefully we can better control them. I'm not sure if we will have time to cover all of the pest so we will start with most important and go from there. So, bring your questions and your notepads to write down answers. As usual we will have door prizes and refreshments. Thank you to all the people who brought refreshments last week they were GREAT and everybody loved them. Anyone wanting to bring refreshments this month, feel free to do so. If you would like to bring something for a door prize that would be fine as well.
Our meetings are open to the public. Anyone who is interested in Honey Bees is encouraged to attend. If you wish to become a member the dues are $7.00 per year. But you do not have to join to attend. IT IS GREAT to see the new faces coming back for more. Hopefully everyone is learning something new each month. See you there !!!!
If you have a specific question you want to be sure to be covered in this next meeting pertaining to Bottling Honey or pest, leave a comment on this site and we will do our best to cover it in the meeting.
Have you remembered the "Gum Test"? Remember when you work your hives, chew gum and let me know if the bees hit your veil. Thanks!
