Next Meeting is October 20th

Our next meeting is moved to Friday, October 20th. It is the night before the Oklahoma State Beekeepers Association Fall Meeting. We are hosting the State Meeting on Saturday so come help us be a great success! Please contact Carola Thornton at we.bee.ok@gmail.com so you can find out what needs to be done. Friday, we will be having our normal meeting with "Producing Honey in Oklahoma, November". Jerry Logan, President of OSBA, will bring a candy board and his recipe. We will be talking about Winter Feeding Methods and Cleaning and Storing Hives for the Winter.

Thank you to everyone who supplies refreshments and door prizes! We are excited about everyone getting involved with COBA, Your Bee Club!

We will be meeting at the Oklahoma County Extension building at NW 10th & Portland, our usual meeting place. We will be in the main auditorium like last month.

Plan on attending the OSBA Fall Meeting on Saturday, October 21st. There will be Workshops, Informative Speakers, Beekeeper of the Year Award, Vendors, Pot Luck Lunch, and much much more! Come and join the State Association.
