COBA FRIDAY October 24 Meeting and SATURDAY October 25 OSBA Fall Meeting

COBA Meeting FRIDAY October 24:

The October COBA meeting is on FRIDAY October 24, from 7:00-9:00 pm, at our usual location, 930 N Portland Ave, Oklahoma City. (See below for why it is Friday.)

The Friday COBA meeting will include:

• Club Business Meeting:

1. Final preparation for the state meeting
2. Finding a new location for COBA meetings (the current location is to be demolished)

• Beekeeping Information:

1. Managing your hives for fall/winter
2. Report on using the microfiber towels to control Small Hive Beetles

Drinks will be provided by COBA.  Please bring a snack to share, and perhaps a bee-related item for the door prizes.

OSBA Fall Meeting SATURDAY October 25:

The COBA meeting is moved to Friday to more closely align with the OSBA (Oklahoma State Beekeepers Association) Fall Meeting, which will be Saturday, October 25 at the same location, 930 N Portland Ave, Oklahoma City.

Registration for the OSBA meeting will begin Saturday at 8:00 am. OSBA membership is NOT included in COBA membership (except for students), and OSBA membership fees are due. The actual meeting is scheduled for 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  

Please bring food for the potluck luncheon and items to donate for the auction and/or door prize drawings!
